respected in the scholarly community and public policy arena.
Qualifications include a successful record as a visionary leader,
institution builder, and resourceful administrator who can attract
and motivate high-quality scholars and manage Hoover’s diverse
operations; and demonstrated ability to work collegially and
effectively with a wide range of constituencies. PhD or equivalent
advanced degree (e.g., in law) and leadership experience in an
academic, government, or public policy program or organization are
